The little guy is still chugging along hitting any milestone you set in front of him like a champ. Unfortunately for us he's taking his time with sleeping through the night. We aren't sure what the hold up is, but the little guy just doesn't seem interested in sleeping all the way through quite yet.
Here's one of my favorite pictures of him that Lyza has captured lately. It's hard to capture his inquisitiveness on a single image, but I think this comes as close as I've seen for a while.
His mom is looking great and it's hard to believe that just 6 months ago she was 27 weeks pregnant. Here she is with her little boy.
The house plans are creeping along. We've got the official blueprints now and have a cost estimate from the builder. That was an eye opener! So we paired a few things down and tried to cut some square footage. Now it's down to a few tweaks to the plans and we'll be ready to break ground. Since I start work immediately after the fellowship ideally we'd like to be in our new place by July 1st. It will not be the end of the world if we are delayed a few weeks, though that is something we'd like to avoid. The builder is optimistic that this can happen, but we've got to get going. Its time for the backhoes and cement trucks to start appearing on the blog...
I love that photo of him!
Great news about the house too. Good luck on getting everything lined up and get that ground broken!
