December Happenings

Things have been a little busy in the Berkley household and we've been lapse with the blog posts. Sorry about that to those of you that are reading about us. We'll make an effort to be more frequent with the updates in the future.

Since we checked in last Noah got his 4 month shots and was looked over by the doctor. Of course, the doctor said he was doing great. He weighed 15lbs 10oz and is in the 75% for height and weight. Here he is sporting the thigh bandaids from his shots:
The little stud muffin wasn't too worse for the wear. He was extra tired the night after his shots and has had some loose stools from the Rotavirus vaccination, but otherwise he's rolled with the punches and moved on...

The other big news is that Lyza and I have decided to build a place in Spring Hill, TN rather than buy a prebuilt one. We've put some cash down on a lot and are currently going back and forth with a builder about our design ideas. This is an exciting thing for us! Hopefully we'll get the house done in time to move in June or July of this coming year. Here's the lot:
It's in the Autumn Ridge neighborhood. We'll post our house plans once they get finalized. It's looking like a pretty sweet pad with lots of cool amenties and plenty of space. It's amazing the amount of decisions that go into designing a house. We've already spent at well over 8 hours face to face with the builder talking, walking through houses and looking online as well as many more hours thinking about things on our own. We know that is just the first of many, many meetings and talks about details. As if a 4 month old isn't enough to keep us busy! But, we're always up for a challenge and besides, it should make for something to write about on the blogger...
Later, N and L
